Photography Policy

All Customers:

• All customers are welcome to take pictures while on the farm picking out their tree or while enjoying everything our tree farm has to offer! Our only request is that you stay aware of other customers while taking pictures.

Photographers: 

​

• Photographers looking to conduct photoshoots are welcome to our tree farm at no charge during our approved photography season (see dates below). You and your clients are welcome to arrive anytime during that timeframe, take as many pictures as you would like and have fun! See our requests and available dates below.

Our Requests:

1. We kindly ask you do not cause any damage to any trees or to our farm while on the property. 

2. Please contact us via email at strautman.treefarm@gmail.com, via Facebook Messenger, or through our website contact form informing us what days and times you plan to visit.

• 2025 Photography Dates: ​

  • Saturday November 1st-Sunday November 16th:

    • Photographers are welcome anytime, any day during this timeframe. Please notify us what days and times you plan to visit.

    • Upon arrival, you are welcome to explore around our 90-acre farm with your clients to find the perfect spot. 

    • You are welcome to bring props and items for your photoshoots as long as they don't cause any harm to trees or damage the property. 

    • Clients are welcome to bring their dogs for photos if they would like. We kindly ask any pet waste is picked up. 

    • These will be the only dates that photographers will be allowed to conduct photoshoots at our tree farm for the 2025 season. ​

• 2025 Holiday Season:

  • Unfortunately, due to recent challenges and limitations to our business logistics that have been caused, photographers are not allowed to conduct photoshoots on our farm while we are open for the Holiday Season. Photographers are still welcome from November 1st-November 16th as highlighted above. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. ​
